The B.E.S.T. Young Artist Program aims to support emerging singers preparing for professional careers. Receipts receive an annual stipend and sing as soloists and professional choristers with the Bach Ensemble as part of the Bach Vespers series.
Each Young Artist will perform as a soloist with the Bach Ensemble during the course of the season. They may also perform in private homes as part of fundraising events. In addition, the Young Artists will participate in a recital along with Principal Musicians of the Bach Ensemble.
Eligibility for the B.E.S.T. Young Artist Program:
* Be under the age of 25
* Have completed a minimum of two years of undergraduate study in music
* Nominated by teacher or professional familiar with the artist’s work
Stipend: $1000
Applications are review by a selection committee.
