The B.E.S.T. in Concert!

The Parish Choir and Choristers of St. Thomas will join with the Bach Ensemble in presenting a concert at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, Kentucky on March 24 at 3:00 p.m. The concert is part of the Cathedral’s Concert Series and will be part of a special recognition of J. S. Bach’s birthdate. This is the second time that the Bach Ensemble has been invited to perform for this celebrated occasion.

The program will include two cantatas, Herr Jesu Christ, wahr’ Mensch und Gott, BWV 127 and Am Abend aber desselbigen Sabbats, BWV 42, as well as a Triple Concerto for flute, oboe, and violin by G. P. Telemann.

Soloists include soprano Laura LeVoir, tenor Ryan Montgomery, baritone Hayden Smith, flutist Randy Bowman, oboist Dwight Parry.

The concert is free and open to the public.
